Using traditional and modern techniques she incorporates natural, found and man-made materials – clay, paper, felt and fabrics. Suzie is an experienced educator, Arts Award Advisor and Young Curators Facilitator.

HALF DAY: Tuesday 13th October, 9.30am – 1pm at Black Swan Arts, Round Tower Gallery BA11 1BB

Participants will have the experience of working with wool and stones. These two materials relate to a long historical association with the Mendip area .

During the workshop, the traditional process of welt felting (using wool, soap and water) will be explained and demonstrated. The resulting felted objects of differing shapes and sizes can then be taken home.

Held at BSA, there will be an opportunity to explore the centre and our exhibition there.
