‘ECHO’ – sculpture & sound installation
Fairy Cave Quarry, 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18 Oct 11-4 with live performances ‘BLAST’, 2-3pm on Sat 3, 11, 17 Oct.

ANTICLINE is a GPS-triggered audio installation by Ralph Hoyte (with Phill Phelps &    Calvium) located at Westdown/Asham Quarry. The app is triggered by GPS when you are in the correct location. A network connection on-site is not required. Thanks to Calvium for allowing free use of their software for a limited period.
To hear this work:
Download ‘Appfurnace Player’ from the Apple Store (iPhone) or Google Player (Android)
Go to and click on “SiS link to QR
Open Appfurnace, click on + button (top right), ‘Scan and Add’ QR code. This downloads ANTICLINE to your phone
Go to Westdown Quarry. Open app. Follow Art Trail. Find the “soundpools”.

Sat 10 Oct, 11am-6pm
Tied in with a live performance by Artmusic at Fairy Cave Quarry 2-3pm, and their ‘Echo’ sculpture & sound installation recording 11am – 4pm, additional worksheets and activites will be provided for families. More information…
